Crustacean Meal is a unique, marine-derived fertiliser made from the shells of crabs, prawns, and lobsters — dried and processed through our custom equipment to yield a pasteurised, graded product that's clean and ready to use straight in the garden. This is the crème de la crème of soil ingredients: while some vendors offer discarded remains at premium prices, or worse, factory-farmed imported shrimp passed off as crustacean meal, ours comes from a food-grade source first, then undergoes our full custom drying and processing chain.
The standout feature is chitin content — significantly higher than insect frass — which elicits a systemic acquired resistance (SAR) immune response in plants, helping to protect them from pests, diseases, and environmental stresses. Alongside the chitin, crustacean meal delivers 20% calcium for strong cell walls and improved plant structure, plus a slow-release NPK feed that breaks down gradually over time.
