Organic Living Soil (Blend 1)
Blend 1 is our classic living soil — a complete, ready-to-grow base built to handle most plants, and dialled in particularly well for container-grown annuals. It starts with a quality base that holds moisture without going heavy, carries a strong microbial load, and keeps enough air space for roots to run. From there it's enriched with good fungal compost and a full spread of organic amendments, so the biology has plenty to work with from day one. Indoors or out, it does the job.
Run it straight from the bag or treat it as a foundation to build on. The base is balanced enough to plant into as-is, with room to push it further — add extra drainage if you're in a humid spot or running big containers, or lift the amendment loading for heavier feeders. Everything in it is fully organic and biologically active, so you're not just filling a pot with mostly filler; you're starting with a living system that keeps working between top-ups and gets better the more you garden off it.
Peatmoss, Fungal Compost, Perlite, Alfalfa Meal, Malted Grains, Whole Fish Meal, Insect Frass, Neem Seed Meal, Hemp Seed Meal, Non-GMO Soybean Meal, Kelp Meal, Agricultural Limestone, Gypsum, High-Paramagnetic Basalt Rock Dust, Rock Phosphate, EM-1 Active Cultures.
Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur and silica, plus a broad trace-mineral profile (iron, manganese, zinc, boron and more). Also supplies amino acids, chitin, natural plant hormones and growth compounds, and enzymes from the amendment and microbial package.
Complete all-in-one living base soil. Grow straight from the bag, or use as a foundation to amend further.
For containers, indoors or out. Open the bag — white, web-like growth through the soil is beneficial fungal mycelium and a sign the biology is active. Fill your containers, gently breaking up any clumps. Add a little water to moisten the soil down. Make your planting hole. Backfill and water in gently, stopping just short of full run-off. Use straight from the bag, or add extra drainage / amendments to suit your plants.
Soil people, same as you.
Soil Supply Co. started because we got sick of paying premiums for inputs that under-delivered. If we wouldn't put it in our own soil, it's not on the shelf.
