Kelp Meal
Kelp Meal is a natural, organic amendment made from dried and ground seaweed — a rich source of potassium, trace minerals, vitamins, and natural growth hormones essential for plant health and development. We offer two distinct species, each with its own hormone profile: Ascophyllum nodosum (North Atlantic) leans more cytokinin-rich, promoting cell division, lateral bud development, and overall plant vigour, while Durvillaea potatorum (Australian bull kelp) leans more auxin-rich, driving root elongation, apical dominance, and directional growth responses.
In reality both species carry a mix of hormones — these are dominant leanings rather than absolutes — and they complement each other well when used together. Their main role is as growth promoters and elicitors, soil conditioners, and trace-mineral sources: they support root growth and microbial activity in the soil. While they do provide a useful NPK contribution weighted toward potassium, their real value lies in the wide array of cytokinins, auxins, and other growth stimulants they deliver — making them true biostimulant ingredients rather than simple fertilisers.

Potassium, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Trace Minerals
Provides a source of NPK and trace minerals, plus a wide array of cytokinins, auxins and other growth stimulants.
Mix 8–12 g per 5 L of soil when building your mix, or top-dress lightly through the season. A rich source of potassium, trace minerals and natural growth hormones.
Soil people, same as you.
Soil Supply Co. started because we got sick of paying premiums for inputs that under-delivered. If we wouldn't put it in our own soil, it's not on the shelf.
