Malted Corn
Malted Corn is a enzyme-rich amendment that unlocks the benefits of corn meal without the drawbacks. Raw corn meal can act as a natural germination inhibitor, making it risky around seedlings — the malting process completely eliminates that factor while maximising the enzymes, auxins, and cytokinins within, making them more immediately available in a simple top-dress or soil amendment.
Available in both ground and unground forms, malted corn provides a source of natural plant phytohormones and growth factors that promote lateral branching, increased plant width during vegetative growth, and stacking during bloom. It pairs well with malted barley — while it doesn't carry quite the same enzymatic power, the two complement each other and cover a broader spectrum of biological activity when used together.

Soil Supply Co. started because we got sick of paying premiums for inputs that under-delivered. If we wouldn't put it in our own soil, it's not on the shelf.
